Dr. Rechter makes herself available, either by returning my phone call or by seeing me in person. She makes me feel like she really cares, and that this is not just a job for her. I appreciate that genuine concern.

I have never met a doctor like Lesley Rechter in my lifetime. I am 74 years old. In this era of "assembly line" medical care, actually talking to a doctor at a time of need is noteworthy. Dr. Rechter is there for her patients 24/7. She listens carefully, asks detailed questions and offers practical solutions. I just had my first case of Covid. Dr. Rechter answered my phone call on a Saturday with reassuring words and advice. A couple of days later, she called me to see how I was feeling. There have been many instances when Dr. Rechter responded at odd hours to my needs, even opening up her office just for me to be tested for an issue i needed addressed before leaving on a trip.
Sometimes a hug is just what the doctor ordered! Dr. Rechter is the most compassionate person I have ever met. She truly cares for her patients with humility and professionalism. After her, the mold was broken.

Dr. Leslie Rechter has been my primary care doctor for over 30 years. When she became part of MDVIP I never thought of leaving her. The MDVIP experience has made her an even more thorough physician. I love that I can reach her via phone or email at any time! I recently had to email her late at night about something and was thrilled to get an answer! She goes above and beyond for all of her patients. 

A Breast Cancer diagnosis came at me, out of the blue at the end of November 2022. Dr. Lesley Rechter has been my doctor for many, many years. She is always a guide post in navigating whatever issue comes up. Now we were really at the crux of the matter. How and with whom do we proceed down the Yellow Brick Road. Many people had a multitude of doctors to suggest, where would I should go. As scared as I was, I knew Dr. Rechter would send me to someone who would provide the same care and humanity that she does. And so it came to pass, we went to the Breast Surgeon she recommended. People asked "why did I go there?' My answer was that Dr. Rechter said 'If it were her, that is where she would go". Good enough for her, good enough for me. I cannot even begin to tell the story from Lumpectomy, 12 rounds of Chemo, 20 sessions of radiation and an additional 3 months of Herceptin. All along the journey Dr Rechter sent me words of support and encouragement. She sent me to place where we got wonderful and personal care. She is a one in a million doctor. I have been very lucky to have her.
