Unfortunately I lost my first story for my submission. It just disappeared when I was typing it. So I hope this story is at least as interesting and good! So here we go! Dr. Echarte has been our primary MDVIP PHYSICIAN for a few years since Dr. Charles Shenker, our MDVIP physician retired. He was incredible! Then Dr. Echarte took over Dr. Shenker’s practice. Discussing, put me in a 2 month wait for get an appointment, then call me and reschedule another 2 month waiting, today called me saying they the doctor in not available and they are not able to reschedule, that’s the kind of “ doctor” he is , I wish to ave minus star to give a minus 5

Dr echarte was watching a small spot on my kidney..going for a catscsn for 5 years. In 2024 it had to be revoked due to cancer..if Dr. Echarte didn't watch it all these year I could have a larger problem

FANTASTIC DOCTOR!!! Dr Echarte is by far one of the finest internist and pulmonologist anywhere!! His bedside manor tops the list. His office staff is equally impressive. They follow up immediately on any questions you have and treat you with total respect all the time. My wife and I love this doctor and their staff.

Allowed my 33 year old son to DIE from Covid using the Remdesivir protocol and vent. While we were having our final goodbyes, he just had to tell us the only thing that would have saved him was the vaccination. I can't help but wonder how many died at Mt. Sinai in his hands.

Rude reception. I called to make an appointment based on a referral I received. They said he’s to busy and can’t take new patients. Understandable. When I asked if they know another doctor that is they were rude and kept telling me the same thing “Dr Echarte is not taking any new patients”. Well it a good thing because based off my experience with his front desk I wouldn’t want to be his patient now anyway.

Dr. Luis Echarte is an excellent human being and a wonderful professional who has been helping me for more than 4 years with my conditions. I have a rare respiratory illness and he is always following up on my situation, giving me new alternatives and treatments, trying to go ahead with the scenario.

I’ve been to Dr. Echarte’s office with my 90 year old mother several times over the last 10 years. He’s taken great care of her with tremendous compassion and thoughtfulness that’s rarely if ever encountered any longer. He’s an amazing doctor and human being.

Besides being a wonderful, warm person, Dr. Echarte is very professional, knowledgeable and attentive 24/7 to his patients. When texted for an issue outside of hours he responses immediately with care and concern and great medical help! My family feels safe in his care!

Cookie was very nasty and rude! Then another rep gets on the phone starts taking my information down when I was asked what insurance I had she could not hear me. I am American with no accent by the way so I'm not understanding why my perfect English was not understood. After rep could not understand what I was saying all of sudden after 5 attempts she doesn't even say hold on she hands disrespectful cookie back the phone and cookie says what is the number to my insurance company to see if they take it. I have worked in a medical office we know what insurance is acceptable and what is not. I am pretty sure the doctor maybe good , however my first impression of this office was disgusting. Try treating people better and learn phone etiquette.

Your MDVIP-affiliated physician will continue to bill your insurance and charge copays, co-insurances and deductibles as he or she currently does for other medical services like sick visits.

MDVIP supports your physician’s practice and seeks to eliminate barriers to a positive healthcare experience. Your doctor will determine whether and how to incorporate these tools at his/her discretion.
