Margaret S. Lunt, MD

My husband and I were both patients of Margaret Lunt. MD. In 2009 he died suddenly. The day that his obituary appeared in the
newspaper, she called me unexpectedly that morning. I was in an expected deep and painful emotional state. I was sitting on
the couch just wondering what had happened and how I was to proceed. The phone rang and I answered to hear Margaret there
saying she just read the obituary and the shock threw her to her knees. She expressed her grief and shock with me. Then she
did an amazing thing. She said that her biggest concern right then was my health and well-being. How could she help me? How
could she be of assistance in my grief and despair. Was I sleeping? Did I need something to help with that? I was in another kind
of shock now from the caring I heard from her and the timbre of her voice as she spoke to me. Knowing she was there for me
meant more than anything to me and helped me get through the very hardest experience I had experienced in my life. I reflect on that
call often and wish everyone had Dr. Margaret Lunt as their physician and friend. .

I've dedicated my entire career to working in the Physician Staffing Industry; and, have been privileged to know some great physicians. It's safe to say, Dr. Lunt is in a league of her own.

I feel so fortunate to have had Dr. Lunt as my Primary Care Provider for years now (honestly, I can't remember how many)! Having been healthy in my younger years, I did not have a PC physician. I used my OB/GYN for the annual and questions along the way. I was quick to recognized that rolling into my geriatric years may be a much different story, and I was committed to find a physician that I could connect with to help me see this through. Unfortunately, this was easier said than done. The first female physician I chose to get established with decided to move her practice to Park City just shortly after seeing me (uugh!). We met after a scary experience waking up and not being able to walk/stand... and she was very helpful in getting me diagnosed with Meniere's Disease! (Thankfully no other episodes have followed.)

When I checked, Dr. Lunt was one of the physicians practicing in this same clinic; but, she was not taking any new patients! I had already read her bio and reviews and knew I wanted to see her! I persuaded her Medical Assistant to please share my story; and to ask her to please reconsider taking me..... and she did!!! I knew from our first visit that I had struck gold!

Shortly after this, I received her letter to her patients explaining her decision to join MDVIP; and, to reduce the number of patients she could take with her! I was left gasping! I didn't know how I would make this work, if it would work; ONLY that I did not want to be left behind!

Since then, I've challenged Dr. Lunt with other anomalies: Waking up with water blisters around my toes-feet, with no explanation as to how, where or why; then there was the strange irritant in my eye; a brief experience with psoriasis; my blood pressure reads all over the map...a UTI whatever it is she is always eager to help and determined to figure it out! I'll never forget her leaving the room to do some study on the water blisters; then her reaching out to a former resident she trained, with a very successful dermatology practice, and her scheduling me a next day appointment!!

I can't say enough about Dr. Lunt! Her calming demeanor, her patience, her extremely thorough and caring approach. MDVIP suits her - as she makes herself available to discuss concerns, she listens, and she is responsive! I can even text her if needed! She goes above and beyond for her patients. I know this FIRST HAND! She truly is a life line!

I am grateful for Dr Lunt. First, she is a practitioner who cares and takes the time with me. She investigates my issues and learns about the best way to treat the issues that I have. It's important to me that Dr. Lunt is a learner who is open to more knowledge. I love that she is open-minded about different ways for healing and supports rather than criticizes the ways I use to heal. She may not agree but she is supportive. She also tells me when she thinks I do not need to do something that I have chosen to do and why she disagrees with my choice. Thank you for being open and real.

Second, she is a friend. She is not superior to me because she is a doctor but she listens and shares and we communicate easily about things that are important to her and to myself. She is respectful of my choices and who I am. This is very important to me.

I am so glad to have someone who I feel really cares about me and my health. I am not a number to Dr. Lunt but a real person. Thank you for your time and the service you give to me.

I have been a patient of Dr. Lunt for twenty five years plus. What makes her so “special” is that she cares about you to the nth degree. When you meet with her for a personal appointment, I have never had a physician that listens like her. She genuinely puts her “heart” into your care. I have also text her and no matter what the situation, she responds within 5-10 minutes. As I grow older, there is no one that I would rather have for my care through the MDVIP program than her. She is a “rare gem” in the medical field. Thank you, Dr. Lunt.
