Our experience with D.Z is exceptional. We were involved with a MVP Doctor for years when we lived in Florida. We chose to find a MVP Dr .when we moved to MA Dr. Z had big shoes to fill since we were with our previous doctor for 13 years. He is everything we were looking for and we are thankful that we are his patients.

We got to know Dr Z this year when our beloved and longtime physician, Dr Malaquais retired. We have come to respect and value Dr Z over the past several months. He is very caring and knowledgeable. We are very happy with our new doctor and his staff.. They are all exceptional.

Callous, unprofessional, immature, thinks he knows everything!

Dr. Zacharatos was my primary physician when he lived in another state. I was his patient for three years. I contracted debilitating, life altering, health shattering Epstein Barr Virus ten and a half years ago. I was under his care, but he never recommended anything to me to get better. I had to quit my career. I even asked him why I wasn't getting better. He tartly replied "your stress levels!"

I then corrected him and told him that my stress levels were far less than they were since I was on medical leave. I went back to him after all of my leave ran out and I had to quit my job. He said that I had "fibromyalgia." He wrote on his form that I would never get better. I was 26 years old with no energy at all, horrific pain, muscles that stopped working properly, and my health deteriorated so that I spent all of my time not passing out.

He NEVER bothered to run any tests on me. He NEVER recommended that I go to other doctors to get well. He NEVER offered any practical suggestions for me to get my life back. Since Dr. Zacharatos proved that he could not help me in any practical way, I sought the expertise of another physician.

Dr. Zacharatos had the gall to send ME, the patient he failed to understand and didn't try to help in any way, a letter chastising me for seeking another physician's advice! Dr. Zacharatos didn't offer any empathy to me at all, even though he said that, at the age of 26, I would live a horrible life not worth living, either. So, Dr. Zacharatos will do nothing for you, offer no practical advice, not be empathetic about your situation, and become so insulted that you sought another doctor's advice even after becoming debilitated at the age of 26 that he will remove you from his practice!

Perhaps Dr. Zacharatos managed to turn a new leaf and have a personality changing transformation. Perhaps the reviewers haven't gone in to any real crisis situations like mine. Either way, I wouldn't trust him ever again. (I thought he didn't deserve any stars for his callous, unprofessional treatment of me. However, my no star review wasn't accepted. The one star is only there because the system requires it.)

Dr. Zacharatos, has always been great, professional, and courteous. His medical expertise is only exceeded by his bedside manor. I always trust and value his medical opinion. I only wished he practiced closer.

Dr Z is simply the smartest, the best, and the most hard working Primary Care doctor I have ever had. (And as an 82 year old retired military officer, I have had a bunch of them.)

Both my wife and I love Dr. Z. He's a young doctor who's current with his understanding of medical best practices, the latest technology, and he is connected with other members of the local medical community so he's able to give excellent referrals when necessary. Because he's part of the MDVIP plan, visits to Dr. Z are always un-rushed, and you feel like he really knows you as a person. Dr. Z is available, essentially, any time. Patients get an office number, the doctor's cell number, and email. If I ask a question via cell phone text message I seldom wait more than an hour to get an answer and we can routinely get same-day appointments if something comes up. MDVIP isn't for free... there's a yearly cost, but every year you get a comprehensive multi-day physical that is covered by the membership fee that's well worth the price of admission. Dr. Z and MDVIP... it's a modern version of an old time "country doctor".

Dr. Zacharatos is the best Physician I have ever worked with. I have personally recommended him to approximately 20 other patients. He took care of my children until they were 25 free of charge. I enjoy seeing him and his wife Liz. They are engaging and friendly. My only concern is that I have heard rumors that he may be moving to a high crime section of Yarmouth which is being used to provide housing to illegal aliens. His present office is in a safe, easy to get to area. Why change that?

Dr. Zacharatos is the best internist I have had in 50 years . He is knowledgeable, available and unfailingly polite and professional. His staff reflects the time and attention he devotes to his patients. I have never felt rushed or minimalized. Although he has been here just about one year, he has quickly developed relationships with specialists in the area.

This is the third time I've had a pre-physical checkup and they are the most useful exams I've ever had! Not only does Liz (RN) explain what she's doing and why she's doing it, she is friendly and professional at the same time. She takes real interest in her patients! she is a great asset to the office.

Yes, I have recommended friends go to see Dr Zacharatos, but I think that his practice is full and no longer taking patients. Get on a wait list if you can!
