My experience is usually decent. I typically am seen by NP Miles. Have never had a problem with her. Last few visits, I've been seen by NP Jennifer D. My prescription instructions have been miswritten twice, which has caused me to run out of medication sooner than I needed. I've brought it up to her before, and she gave me the amount I needed to have to correct the mistake. This time, again, I was given a lower dose. My pharmacy contacted her for correction but was told that "the dose hasn't been increased". Which would be correct, because I've had the same prescription for years by NP Miles. It's simple. Look at what I've been prescribed before, and type the same message if nothing has been changed. I am now out of my medication even though I requested a refill a week ago. But since her instructions were incorrect, it now shows that it's too soon for me to pick them up. If simple instructions can't be read and recited back correctly, I wish to not receive HEALTH CARE from them.

I was looking up the office phone number and came across Steven G’s review. Honestly, it felt extremely unfair and overly dramatic. And if he gets to post a harsh public review of this office, then other patients should be allowed to share their experiences too.
Requiring periodic urinalysis for controlled medications is not some scam or shady money grab. It is a very common requirement now because doctors are under intense pressure and regulation regarding narcotic prescriptions. Policies change, especially with concierge and MDVIP-style practices that require stricter compliance. Complaining that the office finally started enforcing the rules after previously being lenient is a strange reason to attack an entire practice.
As for the insurance coding complaint, mistakes happen in literally every healthcare system and insurance network in the country. Patients absolutely should review their paperwork and ask questions, but jumping from a coding issue to accusing a doctor of wanting to “lie, cheat and steal” is reckless and disrespectful.
Dr. Rodriguez has always been fair, caring, and professional in my experience. He actually takes his time with patients, listens carefully, and does not jump to conclusions or judge people. That is increasingly rare these days. I have always felt heard and taken seriously under his care, and I trust my health in his hands completely.
It is perfectly fine to change doctors if a practice is no longer the right fit for you. But this review reads more like anger over being asked to follow controlled medication policies than an honest reflection of the quality of care being provided.

The extra time Dr Rodriguez was definitely welcome. My only concern was absolutely no follow up. Dr Rodriguez offered many referrals for my health concerns, but he did not deliver.
After waiting many weeks, I called Dr Rodriguez's office. I explained that I was waiting for direction from him concerning my last visit. They said nothing was in my chart, and they would get back to me. I did receive a call from his office, but the call was garbled and I could not understand what she said. Instead of following due diligence to contact me, I was forgotten.
My Medicare policy did provide some guidance in response to my concerns.
I see this as a $2000.00 doctor visit. Obviously the MD VIP program did not work for me.
It's like the old promising the moon saying. It sounds great, but in the end, dropped the ball.
That was from my first visit. The last one I had was better. I have the MRI scheduled, thank you.
My only concern is the itchy bumps thar won't go away.

I sat for an hour after my blood pressure and temperature were taken. If I could give them a negative star I would. I need my blood pressure prescription refilled, but that's only important to me.

Dr Rodriguez and his nurse are the best! They treat me as a friend not just a patient. I have never had that feeling with any other physicians. His office staff are wonderful! I have no complaints!

Dr. RODRIGUEZ truly cares for his patients. He takes the time to get to know you. His staff has been with him for several years, which speaks volumes as to how much he is admired. The wait is often long because he takes time with his patients and doesn't rush. Quality care.

ALONGSIDE THE MASTERS, TLC
Wackadoddle! I keep getting bills for services that are overpriced. I also can never get the level of care that I expect at a physician's office. My wife has been waiting on a referral for over 2 years and no care to follow -up from Heather Miles, FNP or others from staff. That is why I have stopped using this 'operation" for any future healthcare needs. The only individual that has any sense of service there is Richard and he deserves to be in a far better office. He is the G.O.A.T.!

I LOVE this office! After 6yrs of not having a primary care Dr. I am so glad I found this office. I am willing to drive from the complete opposite side of town to be seen by them. From the very first time you walk in you feel welcomed and seen. Never had an issue with them not even when it came to prescription refills or authorizations getting approved. I make sure to follow my Dr’s orders and get labs done every 3 months. It’s been a year since I first came into the office, and my health has significantly improved just following directions. I will forever be grateful and appreciative to the work that is happening at this office.

Perfecto “Dusty Bottoms” Munoz
I’ve been a patient of Dr. Mark Rodriguez, M.D., for over 20 years. He’s not only been my primary care physician but someone I genuinely trusted with my health. Over the years, even when he was out of my insurance network and I had to pay more out-of-pocket, I stayed with him because of the quality of care and connection we had. Unfortunately, with his transition to the MDVIP concierge model, I’ve been told I can no longer see him unless I pay $2,300 a year for this new service. While I understand physicians need to make changes for their business, it’s heartbreaking to feel pushed out of care I’ve relied on for two decades. Even more disappointing was how his management team handled it. Despite Dr. Rodriguez himself telling me I was like family and that he would still see me, I was later told by staff that this would no longer be allowed unless I paid the membership fee. It felt like I was being bullied out of his care—completely disregarding the loyalty and history we shared. I have no issue seeing his practitioner and appreciate their professionalism, but I’m deeply saddened that my relationship with Dr. Rodriguez had to end this way. After 20 years, I expected better communication and a more compassionate transition.

The office staff at this "doctor" office is completely incompetent. I received a call regarding a refill and was told that I had to submit to a urinalysis every 3 months or they would refuse my refills. The only thing is that I had been getting refills for over 9 months without any urine screen, seeing or talking to the doctor. When I asked why that is, they say it is office policy, only it hadn't been and had never been their policy. Needless to say, after talking with two different and clueless office staff, my patience was done. A couple of weeks later, I get the perfect example of how incompetent their staff is (see photos). I already have an appointment with another doctor, so there is no big loss on my part, but save your time. They code appointments wrong. My company gives a $2,000 payment to my HSA when we get a yearly physical. They coded it wrong and if my wife hadn't been paying attention it would have cost me $2,000. Again VERY unprofessional! Keep your eyes peeled on charges they submit to your insurance and how they code your visits. You may think doctors are in it for the patients, but it's a business and they will lie, cheat and steal their way to the biggest charge to both you and your insurance.
