About Michael K. Crawford, MD
My patient-centered practice begins with all aspects of communication and interaction, whether through an extended office visit or by direct phone and email. Through my comprehensive wellness program, subsequent treatment plans and frequent correspondence, I am able to provide individualized care with the goal of not only preventing illness, but to also effectively manage complex chronic diseases. Compassionate and up-to-date medical care extends outside of my office and assures I am indeed a full-service, old-school physician who practices modern medicine as it should be and the way that my patients deserve.

Dr. Crawford has so much concern for our family, that he and his wife even came over to our house on a Saturday to check on my husband. This is something that doctors do not do at this time. Our experience with him has been nothing but positive.

Dr. Michael Crawford is by far the best and most attentive doctor I have ever been to. He never rushes me when I am in his office and he hears everything I say and responds to each and every question I ask, even it it doesn't necessarily pertain to medicine. In the late 1960’s and 70’s there was a tv series call Marcus Welby, MD, it was about a family practitioner, who was caring, compassionate and was first name basis with many of his patients. I always enjoyed that series and was hoping that one day I would meet a doctor like that.
In 2004, that happened when I got an appointment to see Dr. Michael Crawford. From the first visit with him and his staff, I would that he was the Dr. Welby that I was looking for and he has not changed in the last 20 year.
When you enter his office, they know your name and always ask about your family. When you see Dr. C, he knows your medical history and is willing to listen to your problems and help you find a solution. In addition, he can be reached at any time, 24/7 365 days a year. When we have had problems on the weekend, we have always been able to reach him.
My son was also a patient of his and this is a great example of his caring. My son had cancer and was having a difficult time one night, his wife call Dr. C in the evening and he stayed on the phone with her all night. Where would you find a doctor willing to do this now? This speaks volumes about his empathy and dedication to his patients' well-being.
My family has been blessed to know Dr. C and his staff!

I have been a patient of Dr. Crawford before he joined MDVIP. The care I have always received has been excellent, even more so now that I can be in contact with him after hours which I have need to do occasionally. The staff in Dr. Crawford's office is excellent, always willing to help with scripts, appointments, etc. They always try to help you so you don't need to come in the office but if you do need to they usually say just come on over. I actually look forward to my annual wellness exam because the information I receive is comprehensive and very valuable. I feel like each visit to the office is going to visit family. I cherish my relationship with Dr. Crawford and all the staff. One day Dr. Crawford may retire and I will need to find a new physician. I dread that day because I won't find another physician like "doc" Crawford. He not only is my physician but a great friend. There just simply is none better

This is the best experience with a physician. This is the first time I have had an after hours contact and have used it for an emergency. The annual medical exam was the best I have ever had. The instructions were easy to follow and consequences of not following the instructions were clear.

I feel that Dr. Crawford is an incredible physician. I am completely comfortable talking with him about not only my medical conditions, but also about my fears as I enter my 70's. My husband and I travel quite a lot around the world, yet Dr. Crawford is always accessible and responsive to a question that I email or text him from across the world. Just recently while traveling in New Zealand, I texted him about a possible sinusitis infection. Although there was a 17-hour time difference, he responded immediately. I trust him completely and value him as my physician.

Your MDVIP-affiliated physician will continue to bill your insurance and charge copays, co-insurances and deductibles as he or she currently does for other medical services like sick visits.
