My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...

I want to change the way that healthcare has become depersonalized by becoming your personal family physician. Together we can create a personalized healthcare plan to treat your specific needs. As an MDVIP-affiliated primary care physician, I have more quality time to develop meaningful relationships with my patients, perform comprehensive exams, emphasize preventive health, and address your healthcare needs.

I have been serving the primary care needs of Williamson County for 31 years. I have seen the changes that healthcare has gone through and feel the need to change the doctor-patient relationship back to what it was meant to be; a partnership. My family medicine practice provides the means to bring that change for my patients. Similar to concierge medicine practices, I also offer conveniences like same- or next-day appointments that start on time. With interests in cardiovascular health, diabetes, and preventive medicine, I will work with you to help develop and implement your personal healthcare plan.

Been with dr snook for many years. Listen to others talk about their relationship with their doctor and feel their experiences cannot compare to mine. I know if I need medical attention for any reason, dr snook will be there. I will get a referral, medications or whatever treatment is needed promptly. I believe that type of personal attention is very important, especially when it comes to my… See more

We had to switch doctors when ours retired. Even though he just became our doctor, I've known about him 30 years . I first used his previous partner as my doctor. So far, so good. I only needed to use him once. But one improvement would be how the office is run for his patients. You always go through his nurse
to call and often she is busy with patients . Having a person answer… See more

When I retired and moved to Texas in 2021 to be close to my young grandchildren, I was overweight and unable to keep up with the little ones without getting winded. My high cholesterol was being treated with medication, and I was in need of a primary care doctor in my new state. I saw a brochure about Dr. Snook and MDVIP, and decided to invest in improving my health. I was able to get… See more

Dr. Murray Snook is not only an awesome doctor to both my husband and myself but obviously he’s a caring person! Here he is blowing away the leaves in front of the office to make it more welcoming. I don’t think many doctors would go outside to do this and I appreciate him going beyond what is expected of him.

from Kenneth in TX September 30, 2021 for Murray Snook, MD

I visited my PCP Dr. Murray Snook because I was once again starting to have extraneous heart beats 3 years after my Oblation for Atrial Flutter. I was able to get in on the same day and after listening to my heart and looking at my EKG Dr Snook was very concerned that I may be on the verge of having a heart attack. He immediately told me I couldn't drive myself to the ER but that he would… See more
