Meet Nirav S. Gandhi, MD

My passion as an internal medicine physician is to provide you with personalized care. As an MDVIP-affiliated primary care physician, I will work to give each patient an individualized treatment plan that will be a fusion of evidence-based and integrative medicine. You will be treated as if you are a member of my family in a warm and caring atmosphere where together, you and I will work in a partnership to improve and optimize your health. 

I have been practicing in Las Vegas and Henderson, Nevada for the last 15 years. Over this time, I served in the position of Chief of Medicine & Family Practice for St. Rose Dominican Hospitals. This position has allowed me the opportunity to make relationships with many specialists to help you with your unique needs.   

I have partnered with MDVIP because it will allow me to continue to provide individualized healthcare in this time of increasing pressures on the patient-physician relationship. Similar to concierge medicine practices, I also offer conveniences like same- or next-day appointments that start on time. The Program provides the gift of time, which I will utilize for comprehensive wellness exams and educational opportunities for the patients I serve.

Most MDVIP-affiliated primary care practices accept insurance (your physician can tell you whether they accept your specific insurance plan). Your annual fee pays for preventive care medical services that insurance usually doesn’t cover (e.g., advanced diagnostic testing and screenings). Your MDVIP-affiliated physician will continue to bill your insurance and charge copays, co-insurances and deductibles as he or she currently does for other medical services like sick visits.

MDVIP makes wellness and prevention easier by providing your physician with innovative tools and technology. MDVIP supports your physician’s practice and seeks to eliminate barriers to a positive healthcare experience. Your doctor will determine whether and how to incorporate these tools at his/her discretion.

Dr. Nirav Gandhi is a remarkable primary care physician. He draws upon a vast bank of medical knowledge & communicates it to patients in detail. After having selected him & seen him during several office visits over the past year, I suggested that my spouse see him, as well. The amount of time that Dr. Gandhi has spent with each of us is unprecedented. In academia, a professor may be an excellent scholar or an excellent teacher but rarely both. In heath care, an MD may be extraordinarily competent or extraordinarily caring but rarely both. Dr. Gandhi is that physician. I had my first appt. with Dr. Gandhi and although I have never been compelled to write a review on a doctor, my visit with him was so good I wanted to recommend him. He was not only very knowledgeable, taking the time to educate me on several different health concerns, but he was honest, upfront and kind. He took almost an hour to do a thorough history, exam and plan of treatment with me, answering all of my questions. Not once did I feel rushed or like I was taking too much of his time. The office staff were efficient and personable and I look forward to being a long-term patient of his.

I have spent my entire life hoping to find a doctor like Dr. Gandhi. He is a caring physician that makes sure that your health is a top priority. In my experience, Dr. Gandhi has given me my health back. Thorough blood tests helped him determine specific hereditary anomalies in the way my body processes nutrients. BE WARNED: I saw Dr Ghandi once because my insurance gave me a once per year checkup and he covered it. He referred me to Dr Kim for a procedure and told me he was the "best"! After going through loopholes to schedule atp with dr kim, I found out he didn't even do the procedure that Ghandi talked him up for. These docs are crooks. They all refer to make money. I wouldn't trust him... like most, they are all in for money to bill you, get referral $$$ and bill your insurance the most possible!
