About Orlando Fonseca, MD
As your internal medicine physician, it is my objective to provide care that is patient-centered and proactive. Through a personalized healthcare approach, I take the necessary time to discuss my patients’ health and wellness goals and to educate them on the importance of early identification and treatment of illnesses. In our unrushed visits together, I am able to emphasize the importance of controlling chronic health conditions to avoid the complications that are associated with them. This control helps maintain a good quality of life as we age. I also offer conveniences, like same- or next-day appointments that start on time, which may be found in concierge medicine practices.
In addition, I am extremely passionate about helping my patients identify and reduce their cardiovascular disease risk. This is accomplished with the use of new diagnostic tools focused on early disease detection, genetics and inflammatory marker testing.
My primary care practice is located in Houston and currently serves Memorial City, Spring Valley, Memorial Villages, Houston Energy Corridor, Katy, Cypress, Houston metropolitan area, Harris County and surrounding areas. I am affiliated with Memorial Hermann Memorial City Medical Center and am fluent in English and Spanish.

In our first appointment, he ordered my Cleveland Heart blood test. He also immediately. Literally immediately left our examination room, called himself one of the top five Cardiologist in the state of Texas and I had an appointment the next day! Fact!
The next day and after a stress test with the cardiologist, it was identified that I had a significant blockage in my heart. Forty Eight hours later I had surgery and a “99%” blockage was corrected!
Now three years later, I have my 6 month check ups, annual Cleveland heart blood test and all is well. Incredible and how fortunate was I!
Today, if I have a health issue I call Dr Fonseca’s office and immediately have an appointment within 24 hrs..frankly normally 4 hrs. Then I get the unexpected personal text from Dr Fonseca to check up on how I am doing!

He is simply the worst doctor I have ever visited and would never recommend him to anyone. If you are looking for someone with compassion and someone who knows medicine I would look elsewhere.
