Reviews from the web
I just thought it was important to note the contents of this review. My husband and I were both patients at her previous practice New Beginnings / Metabolized health for YEARS. (3+) We loved all of the Doctors at this practice and felt very happy with their care. The reason I am giving one star is that the practice dodged our phone calls for months, kept saying they would call us back with updates, and then closed down with no noticed.
I randomly called back again to be told that Dr.Deckert now had her own practice and it was a very EXPENSIVE monthly membership. The receptionist was very nice but beating around the bush instead of just telling me that we need to find new primary care. I understand that things happen, however, an entire new practice doesn’t just happen overnight and I wish there was more consideration for the people who put their lively hood in your hands.
The total disregard for their patients and their well being was very shocking and disappointing. I hope going forward you do better.
I am gaining trust in doctors again because of her.
Know one knew what was wrong with me. I was depressed, exhausted, randomly fainting and had to quit my job.
I told an aquintence of mine about my condition and she highly recommended Dr. Deckert. I made an appointment immediately.
Dr. Deckert discovered I was in Adrenal Crisis, testing showed I had almost zero hormones after I went into menopause.
Deckert was a shocked as I was and wondered how I was functioning at all.
It took about 6 months to get me to normal, with a combination of medications and vitamins and minerals.
She is extremely attentive, listens and tries the most natural, holistic (meaning whole body, whole person) approaches as possible with a combo of medications.
I will never be able to thank her enough for saving my life.
She gets the highest possible recommendations from me, and I encourage every person to make an appointment with Dr. Deckert.
Her response to questions via either staff or her personal cell phone is prompt and efficient. My hope is that she continues to practice for many years to come.
Her expertise in hormones including thyroid problems surpasses anyone I’ve ever gone to. Her treatments to any of my problems that may arise are affective. I like that she knows how to think outside the box. I find that most physicians don’t. They are limited in their ability to get beyond prescription drugs and limited western practices. Dr Deckert is a very smart, well read, and a diligent researcher that makes her effectiveness as a doctor outstanding.
Frequently Asked Questions
Doctors who operate in the MDVIP models typically see far fewer patients than traditional primary care doctors. That gives them more time to develop deeper doctor-patient relationships that can lead to better outcomes. They can also offer conveniences that most primary care doctors can’t, including same- and next-day appointments. They’re available after hours for urgent matters. And they have time to focus on prevention. That focus begins with the MDVIP Wellness Program, which patients pay for with their annual membership fee.
Most MDVIP-affiliated primary care practices accept insurance (your physician can tell you whether they accept your specific insurance plan). Your annual fee pays for preventive care medical services that insurance usually doesn’t cover (e.g., advanced diagnostic testing and screenings). Your MDVIP-affiliated physician will continue to bill your insurance and charge copays, co-insurances and deductibles as he or she currently does for other medical services like sick visits.
MDVIP makes wellness and prevention easier by providing your physician with innovative tools and technology. MDVIP supports your physician’s practice and seeks to eliminate barriers to a positive healthcare experience. Your doctor will determine whether and how to incorporate these tools at his/her discretion.
