About Peter M. Gottesfeld, MD
My goal in family medicine is to provide private primary care focused on the individual patient. As a private primary care doctor, I use science, technology, and emotional intelligence to create a therapeutic environment focused on treatment of acute illnesses, optimal management of chronic conditions and finding prevention strategies that work for each patient. My MDVIP-affiliated practice offers services, including comprehensive, advanced health screenings and diagnostic tests, that go far beyond those found in concierge medicine practices.
I am on staff at Northern Westchester Hospital Center and Hudson Valley Hospital Center. With my new office conveniently located in Yorktown Heights less than 2 miles off the Taconic Parkway, I am able to serve the communities of Northern Westchester County (Yorktown Heights, Chappaqua, Armonk, Bedford, North Salem, Pound Ridge, Somers and Croton-on-Hudson) and Putnam County (Garrison, Cold Spring and Mahopac.)
My certification in Age Management Medicine has given me the opportunity to study nutrition and exercise - two areas in which I have particular interest. As a private doctor, I enjoy partnering with my patients and guiding them in a joint endeavor for better health. I am fluent in Spanish and German.

Additionally, he has been available to me every time I was sick - offering an appointment the very same day!!!! When I call, a human answers the telephone and is kind and responsive to my needs. Sadly, this was not my experience with "regular" doctors which was why I initially signed up for MD/VIP.
