About Ramin Alizadeh, MD

Throughout my career, my mission has been to help improve patient health through evidence-based preventive care. To help accomplish this, I am pleased to be offering MDVIP Wellness Program Plus, which incorporates a multitude of physical screening tools, an advanced cognitive screening assessment and a personal medication management program to help preserve health and vitality as we age.

As your doctor, providing a personalized healthcare approach can ultimately help improve outcomes in many significant disease areas, including cardiovascular disease, cancer, diabetic care, pulmonary disease and dementia.  Personalized healthcare is a privilege to provide as your physician and an ideal every patient deserves to support them in living life healthy.  

My medical practice is located in Newport Beach and serves a multitude of cities in Orange County, California. My hospital affiliation is with Hoag Hospital, a premier healthcare facility dedicated to quality care. Most importantly, I am proud to care for a diverse patient population, having fluency in multiple languages including English, Farsi and Spanish.

I appreciate the fact that I have immediate access to Dr. Alizadeh. This proved to be necessary when I went into AFIB over a weekend a couple of years ago. MDVIP-affiliated physicians use the Wellness Program Plus to help prevent little things from becoming big things – working to help patients enjoy life and be healthier. Those who value their health will appreciate having a closer doctor-patient relationship. Because MDVIP-affiliated physicians have smaller practices, they have more time for you, so you can receive the individualized care and service you deserve. Physicians offering the Plus program have a different set of testing to choose from than physicians in the traditional program; this testing looks at additional health risks. Plus doctors also use an advanced cognitive testing system to evaluate brain health and offer a medication review program.

MDVIP makes wellness and prevention easier by providing your physician with innovative tools and technology. MDVIP supports your physician’s practice and seeks to eliminate barriers to a positive healthcare experience. Your doctor will determine whether and how to incorporate these tools at his/her discretion.

Most MDVIP-affiliated primary care practices accept insurance (your physician can tell you whether they accept your specific insurance plan). Your annual fee pays for preventive care medical services that insurance usually doesn’t cover (e.g., advanced diagnostic testing and screenings). Your MDVIP-affiliated physician will continue to bill your insurance and charge copays, co-insurances and deductibles as he or she currently does for other medical services like sick visits.
