About Regina M. Wright, MD
As your family physician, I specialize in delivering holistic care to my patients. In my practice you will never be just a “lung problem” or “diabetes”. My goal has always been to treat my patients as I would want to be treated as a patient.
As an MDVIP-affiliated physician, I look forward to working personally with you to optimize your medical and overall well-being in the way that it should be - in a caring, safe and non-rushed atmosphere. I also enjoy exploring alternative medicine options, such as herbal therapies, acupuncture and even hypnotherapy.
I have been living in Gilbert since 1995. I am a veteran, have worked on the Navajo Reservation for eight years and have been privileged to serve on a mission trip to Lesotho, Africa. I am happily married with two grown children and an ever changing menagerie of pets. I enjoy gourmet cooking, travel, reading and beating my husband in Scrabble.

Doctor Wright has been my doctor for quite some time now. She has been with me through thick and thin. She is the "best" doctor that I have ever had in my life. Dr. Regina Wright is a fabulous doctor. I absolutely love her! She is very knowledgeable about the medical problems I have and explains everything and answers all my questions quite thoroughly. She is very easy to communicate with. I must say that Dr. Wright is the best family doctor I have ever had during my lifetime and I am presently 80 years old, so I've had a few. Dr. Wright is an excellent healer. She truly cares for her patients and works with each individually to identify a key change that we can make to improve our health and wellness. At a later time, she introduces the next key change... and so on. In other words, she does not overwhelm us with all the things we need to 'fix', but picks the one with the most bang and helps you to know the steps to take action to feel and be healthier. She listens when you say you don't think something works for you; then she works with you to find an alternative approach so that you can make the change that will enable wellness! She is awesome!

I have received excellent care from Dr. Wright and the MDVIP PROGRAM. The annual physicals are beyond anything I have ever received before in that they are extremely comprehensive. Dr. Wright then spends time studying them carefully and comparing them to past information so that she can provide me with a complete assessment of my health. She then goes the extra mile to provide me with information about how I can be proactive in forestalling any potential problems that could arise down the road. For example I have the potential of developing kidney disease (my mother had it and spent years on dialysis before she passed.). She has provided a plan for me to avoid this disease that I am now happily following. I am certain that a regular physician and the usual physical would have not have gone into this depth to understand my particular health concerns. I cannot say enough good about Dr. Wright and her work.

I love that I get a full medical review of my overall health and am educated on any preventive measures. It is a very indepth exam and you get a personal tour of how your body is functioning. My doctor is well informed and passes that information to me. She is fantastic.

Dr.Wright was my sweet mothers doctor (my mom passed in 2014) & is still my fathers doctor & has been for 18 yrs.

Dr. Wright was my aunt's doctor. My aunt was very ill about six months prior to her death, I had taken my aunt to see Dr. Wright and I was amazed at how well she listens and was not like every other doctor I have encountered, they just talk at you. I was very grateful that my aunt had such a compassionate and wonderful doctor.

Ive had many doctors here in the valley over 21 years of living here and Dr. Regina Wright is the best Ive had yet. She listens to you (which is huge) and has always given me the correct solutions to my needs. She is knowledgeable with experience. I highly recommend.

I have been going to East Valley Primary care for over 4yrs and their service has done nothing but decline. The front desk staff are often rude and unwilling to work with you. Dr. Wright overlooked a serious illness with my mother saying it was 'normal' when in fact, on a 2nd opinion she needed surgery. Overall I have been extremely disappointed in their service.
