Meet Richard B. Bullock, MD, FACP

As an internist with over 30 years of clinical experience, I look forward to the daily personal and professional fulfillment that comes from caring for all of my patients. You are entrusting me with one of the most precious things you have – your health – and I take both that trust and your health very seriously.

As your physician I bring a vital combination to this relationship – caring, dedication and cutting-edge medical knowledge. By creating and maintaining an ongoing long-term relationship with each one of my patients, my objective is to forge a bond that allows us to work together toward these goals: improving and maintaining your health and helping you achieve the best possible quality of life for as long as you live. I am also using telemedicine visits to stay connected with my patients when they are unable to see me in the office. It is easy to do, and we have maintained our momentum with preventive health goals and chronic care during difficult times.

I am gratified and humbled by the support of my current patients, and I look forward to continuing to serve you. To my future patients, I’m eager to meet with you, in person or virtually, to learn about your healthcare needs and how we can work together to meet them.

I have an interest in many areas of internal medicine including hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, managing stress, depression and anxiety. I also enjoy working with patients to guide them in healthy aging, helping to ensure their fitness and productivity throughout all the phases of their lives.

Most MDVIP-affiliated primary care practices accept insurance (your physician can tell you whether they accept your specific insurance plan). Your annual fee pays for preventive care medical services that insurance usually doesn’t cover (e.g., advanced diagnostic testing and screenings). Your MDVIP-affiliated physician will continue to bill your insurance and charge copays, co-insurances and deductibles as he or she currently does for other medical services like sick visits.

MDVIP makes wellness and prevention easier by providing your physician with innovative tools and technology. MDVIP supports your physician’s practice and seeks to eliminate barriers to a positive healthcare experience. I have been a patient of Dr. Bullock's for a long time. I spent years teaching biology at a university and always included information about choosing a doctor. That information came from many sources and I was not surprised to see that Dr. Bullock met the high standards described in each article. He is extraordinary and without compare, the finest doctor I have ever known. I've served on several hospital boards of trustees and been involved in health care all of my adult life. Not a patient but thought this was super important information not listed. Dr. Bullock is part of a MDVIP that requires you to pay almost $1600 a year just for you to be seen by him (and not covered by any insurance). The insurance industry is already damaged and now a doctor wants a separate yearly fee just so you can be seen by them? Seems like something is not right if this is legal (classist as well) or considered unethical in my opinion. The search for a good, ethical doctor continues.

The dedication and professionalism of Dr. Bullock and his staff are an example for all healthcare providers to strive for. Both my wife and I have been extremely well cared for, often on very short notice, for emergent conditions. I recommend Dr. Bullock highly.

He is a most outstanding physician, who genuinely cares about every one of his patients and provides each one with top notch medical care with an amazing bedside manner!! MDVIP does not appear to have made a difference in the top quality of care I have always consistently received from Dr Bullock. There is little to no value added by MDVIP and the cost is ridiculously high.
