About Rick L. Jackson, MD
My goal as a family medicine physician is to not only treat my patients’ medical and emotional issues, but to also work with each patient to help prevent problems – what is now commonly referred to as “wellness”. I have the time to get to know my patients as people, what motivates them and what their hopes, dreams, fears and concerns might be, so we can work as a team to create a highly personalized plan of care that will help improve their health and their life.

Ashbrook Family Medical has been a god sent! When I returned to this area and was looking for a family style service where they know you as a person not a ID number. I’ve had Dr. Jackson for at almost 10 years, I’ve never had a more kind, supportive doctor. He helped when no one else would. I have some pretty hard life changing things happen to me, he dug in and stuck with me, and still is.
The staff is great, he even has a clinic next door where he has such a range of aesthetic services.

I’ve been going to Ashbrook Medical for the majority of my life and the care I receive has always been top notch! I am currently in the mdvip program and see Dr. Jackson once a month and I can always count on him to give the best care and best health advice and any time i ever need him he shows up! He’s the best doctor I’ve ever had. He has the sweetest medical assistants and the front desk ladies are always incredibly helpful and patient.

If I could give Dr. Jackson 6 stars I would. The only down side is there is usually a wait time. But, he is compassionate, non judgmental, he listens, he helps to the best that probably any doctor could do, he takes the time to explain things to you and answer all of your questions, he also gets to know you on a personal level, there you are not just another number, he lets you be in charge of your health plan as in asking do I want a second opinion or to see a specialist or have him treat me, and what treatment route would I like to go. He is always there to help and has been a saving grace for me and some of my complicated and uncommon diseases. I will be a patient of his for as long as he is in practice and I HIGHLY recommend anyone and everyone to see him.

New to the area. Called Dr. Rick Jackson because he is in our provider network. When I called the girl told me that I would have to pay 1600.00 dollars above and beyond my insurance if I wanted to see this Dr. He obviously thinks an awful lot about himself. What a joke!!

Absolutely amazing staff. I have dealt with terrible doctors for the last 4+ years.. Not anymore. This office is wonderful and they actually care about their patients. Dr Jackson is a very caring human being and you can tell that his staff follows his lead. Very nice people and great place to get your health going in the right direction!

Your MDVIP-affiliated physician will continue to bill your insurance and charge copays, co-insurances and deductibles as he or she currently does for other medical services like sick visits.
