About Rigoberto Gonzalez, MD
I am an internal medicine specialist and primary care physician who has been practicing medicine in the Miami area for more than a decade. While I am a physician, I, too, am also a patient who understands the frustrations associated with typical office visits and feeling like a number. I have always felt that the best outcomes for patient care come from the simple act of listening to patients and addressing their concerns on a human level. My goal is to simply speak with my patients and include them in a personalized healthcare plan to better treat their current health problems and help prevent new ones.
I am affiliated with the Baptist Health South Florida in the Miami area. I am fluent in both English and Spanish, which fosters a closer doctor-patient relationship. My MDVIP-affiliated practice, often compared to a concierge medicine practice, offers conveniences like same- or next-day appointments that start on time.

Your annual fee pays for preventive care medical services that insurance usually doesn’t cover (e.g., advanced diagnostic testing and screenings). Your MDVIP-affiliated physician will continue to bill your insurance and charge copays, co-insurances and deductibles as he or she currently does for other medical services like sick visits.

MDVIP supports your physician’s practice and seeks to eliminate barriers to a positive healthcare experience. Your doctor will determine whether and how to incorporate these tools at his/her discretion.
