Early in my training, I was involved in academic research for many years, profoundly enhancing my ability to follow pharmacology, microbiology, clinical research and evidence-based medicine as a whole. I have practiced medicine in the Reno community since 2004, during which time I have honed my skills as a clinician and developed good associations with multiple excellent specialists in town. One of my great passions in life is being an internist.

As much as I take pleasure in the continued intellectual challenges of medicine, it is the patient relationships which bring me sincere joy. I cherish working with my patients to bring them to a life of better health, to help them flourish in their own passions without the burden of navigating the path to wellness alone. The MDVIP program allows me to assess patients more comprehensively than I was ever able to before, to focus on prevention and wellness, even amongst patients that already carry the weight of disease. Maintaining a smaller practice allows time together to explore what is most important to my patients while still focusing on the imperatives of treatment. My goal is to provide comprehensive, compassionate care in an elegant and modern environment, using evidence-based medicine and a solid knowledge of clinical science to guide my patients towards better health.

I do have several other delights in life, foremost being my children Alexander and Zoe. I enjoy travel, gourmet cooking, music, photography, and reading. I look forward to meeting you and learning about the passions which drive your life, as we focus on bringing you to an enhanced state of wellness.
