My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...

I have been practicing medicine for nearly three decades and have seen the changes occurring in practices today. I was fortunate to find MDVIP because they believe in prevention and wellness, which is the basis of optimal care for my patients’ daily lives. I am very excited to practice medicine in my new MDVIP-affiliated practice because I will have the ability to answer my patients’ questions and concerns without time constraints. I love spending time with my patients since each and every one is my top priority. I have always appreciated the personal relationships that have evolved over the years not only with my patients, but their families as well.

Testimonials from patients of Dr. Axonovitz

from Ginny in OH March 30, 2024 for Robert Axonovitz, MD, FACP

I have been a patient of Robert Axonovitz, M.D. for approximately thirty years - and truly can’t imagine what my life would have been like without his skills. He is a super diagnostician, a trusted practitioner and has always been interested in keeping me as healthy as I can possibly be. He is a kind encourager and a true gentleman.

I first met Dr.Axonovitz when he joined a practice of a well-established senior physician. I was a pharmaceutical representative. I was almost as new at my job as him. We both grew over the years. He gained more responsibility and so did I. Eventually I would try to convince him to put my products on the hospital formularies. We argued amicably. We learned to trust each other. I did not have… See more

My second time with COVID-19 and home with no support. I live 3 hrs. from Dr. Robert Axonovitz and sent him a text when my temperature increased to 103.5 after chills prior. He called me immediately and reviewed new drug Paxlovid. He called in a script and told me to take tylenol to reduce the fever. I was able to pick up the script and started to feel better the next morning. To have… See more

Sorry this is late, but better late than never! Dr. Axonovitz has been my doctor for 40 years. He has never been wrong or made a poor decision about my health. The latest decision was to tell me " Do not get on a plane until this CoVid-19 is settled!" This occurred just last Month, as we were just four days away from boarding a flight from Tampa to Dallas-Ft. Worth to Palm Springs, CA for the… See more

Always a little apprehensive changing to new Dr., but what a pleasure.

Met Dr. Axonovitz (Ax), for the first time during my annual physical after my previous MDVIP Dr. retired. Dr. Ax not only took the time to walk me through the details of my physical, but we enjoyed a discussion on my health including the details behind the decision to keep me on certain medications, I had hoped to… See more
