It is an impossible task to choose just one instance from the past several dozen years that I've had the remarkable pleasure of being the patient of the world's greatest Doctor! Our greatest achievement has been his ability to motivate myself to become the most healthy individual possible. I would not be here today, a healthy 78 years of age, without his motivation, guidance and expertise! I feel I am a Gold-Metal-Winner in a very critical game. A winner whose success is directly attributed to the Coach's expert advice, expert diagnosis, expert treatment and expert motivation, producing life changing results!

I wish on National Doctors Day, in a very humble way, to thank Dr. Sal, my Coach, motivator, and the greatest Doctor ever, for being there in my many hours of need and most all for being my VERY SPECIAL FRIEND!

I worked in a hospital as a mechanic and worked long hours. Dr. Ciliberti was doing his residency, so he worked long hours also. I found him to be a dedicated and very friendly person. He has been a savior to my health and never left my side. I feel he has been two steps ahead of caring for my health. Could not have found a better doctor, who seems like a friend.

While vacationing at a villa in Tuscany, I had a fall which resulted in 7 broken ribs. I was diagnosed at a small hospital in a nearby village. The doctors there insisted that I be admitted, and cautioned me about the dangers of flying home in my condition. Thankfully, I was able to reach Dr. Sal on his mobile phone, even though it was his day off, and he was at a race track with some colleagues. He was able to reassure me that I could indeed fly home safely. Within 2 days, I was in Dr. Sal's office receiving the follow up care that I needed. At a time when I was far away, in pain, and frightened, being able to talk to Dr. Sal made all the difference in the world to me.

I was experiencing some rather serious dizziness one weekend. It was on a Saturday and I didn't want to bother anyone with it, and I figured it was probably an inner ear thing. When it did not get any better , I called Dr. Ciliberti on a Sunday and explained the problem to him. Being so familiar with my history, he told me to go to the emergency room to seek immediate care. As it turned out, I ended up with three stints and a pacemaker/ defibrillator implanted. It was his intimate knowledge of my case, plus his willingness to be available anytime on any day that very probably saved my life. I could not ask for any better care.
This is of course over and above the constant need I have to rearrange and change appointments since I travel extensively. I have never experienced anything but the absolute best I could ask for in terms of a caring, professional, courteous and friendly arrangement.
