Sinnarajah Raguraj, MD

My journey in medicine began as a young boy inspired by my community physician spending long hours listening to and tirelessly treating people with care and compassion. I have trained in countries including the United Kingdom and was drawn to be trained and practice medicine in the United States because of what I believe to be impressive healthcare.

I have practiced as a primary care physician for 25 years and have enjoyed every bit of the journey.  Through the years, it became increasingly difficult to adhere to my philosophy of spending more time with the patient and providing personalized, preventive care. 

As an MDVIP-affiliated physician I am able to spend more time to build a closer relationship with my patients based on trust and with a more individualized  approach. My focus is to help the patient understand and work toward prevention and improved health with a care plan that is unique to them. 

My practice offers services, including comprehensive, advanced health screenings and diagnostic tests, that go far beyond those found in concierge medicine practices . We can also accommodate same- or next-day appointments, and I can be reached after hours for more urgent needs. I have built relationships with many specialists in the community and have more time to discuss cases with them as needed.  

My practice is in Bel Air, Maryland, serving greater Harford County, including White Marsh, Harve De Grace, Fallston, and Abingdon. I try my best to incorporate the practice of  better nutrition and exercise in my own life and strive to encourage and incorporate this for my patients based on their unique needs.
