Timothy Cocks, MD

First, a little about me personally. I have practiced medicine in Vero Beach, Florida for nearly three decades. I am married to a wonderful, dynamic woman who amazes me every day, and I have one son of whom we’re very proud. My wife and I are avid tennis players. I “walk the talk” every day by being physically active and eating healthily. 

Second, before affiliating with MDVIP, I enjoyed a wonderful, traditional medical practice here in Vero Beach for 20 years, but always wanted to offer a more personalized way of doing things. My goal has always been to create deeper doctor-patient relationships while at the same time providing individualized care. I found that accomplishing both in the traditional framework of healthcare as it is today became increasingly difficult for many reasons beyond the control of physicians. 

In my MDVIP-affiliated practice, I have more time to pursue my long-standing special interests in cardiovascular health and prevention and discuss those with my patients. My practice offers services, including comprehensive, advanced health screenings and diagnostic tests, that go far beyond those found in concierge medicine practices.

I am excited to be an MDVIP affiliate, to create the kind of patient care where patients feel heard and empowered, the doctor feels satisfied, and preventive care is the focus, with more time and resources that I believe every patient deserves.
