My goal as your personal primary care physician is to provide more personalized medical care with the focus being on prevention and wellness. After 25 years of private general internal medicine, I realize that the present state of healthcare may not be fitting for those who want the more personalized, one-on-one attention that I feel most patients desire. My MDVIP-affiliated practice offers services, including comprehensive, advanced health screenings and diagnostic tests, that go far beyond those found in concierge medicine practices. This model allows me to create a personalized wellness plan to help my patients better achieve their health goals. This includes an increased focus on nutrition, exercise, and medication reduction where possible, as well as an integration of alternative forms of therapy when appropriate.

Western New York is an area with one of the highest rates of cardiovascular disease, cancer, thyroid disease, and multiple sclerosis in the country. The ability to provide advanced preventive screenings, more time for visits, more on-time appointments, same- or next-day appointments, and the ability to reach me after hours by cell phone for more urgent matters are the core reasons why I chose this model of medicine.

My MDVIP-affiliated primary care practice, located in the Niagara Falls/Lewiston area, includes Maureen Westgarth, FNP, who has been an integral part of my care team for over 12 years. She has special interests in women’s health and complementary medicine and helps me provide the more individualized care and attention my patients deserve.
