My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...

My philosophy as a primary care physician is to take care of the whole patient, not only their physical, but emotional needs. I believe in treating patients as I would my own family. The MDVIP model allows me the time to focus on wellness and prevention, as well as help effectively manage acute and chronic conditions. It also gives me the opportunity to get to know my patients on a personal level and partner to help them achieve their health and wellness goals.

My primary care practice is located in Towson, Maryland and offers a personalized healthcare approach. Similar to concierge medicine practices, I also offer conveniences like same- or next-day appointments that start on time. I get to know my patients well beyond their immediate needs. My focus is on wellness and prevention.

Testimonials from patients of Dr. Frankel

from Claire in MD April 2, 2024 for Trina Kapoor Frankel, DO

Dr. Frankel and her staff are the best. We travel a lot and if we need assistance wherever we are a call to the office and the job is done. The Doctors that we have been referred to are wonderful as so is she.

from Elizabeth in MD March 15, 2024 for Trina Kapoor Frankel, DO

Dr. Frankel has been my health care provider for many years. Although I am fortunate that I do not need her services on a frequent basis, I love the peace of mind that I have knowing that she will be there for me when issues arise. I never feel rushed when I have an appointment, I always feel heard when we discuss my health, and it's like seeing one of my good friends that I haven't seen for a… See more

I recently was divorced, and had my yearly physical scheduled shortly thereafter. While going through the normal medical questions, we started talking about the divorce. Dr. Frankel immediately put down her papers so she could only focus on my story. I have never had a doctor listen so intently and ask questions about my mental state of mind. This moment showed me that Dr. Frankel really cares… See more

I have followed Dr. Frankel from each location where she practiced. She has been instrumental in monitoring my health and dealing with both physical and emotional issues. She is compassionate and knowledgeable and continues to direct me on my health journey. I will always consider her to be one of the most special people in my life, and MDVIP is lucky to have her!

from Traci in MD February 13, 2024 for Trina Kapoor Frankel, DO

Dr. Trina Frankel is one of a few very rare diamonds in that proverbial pile of glass. I can honestly say that she is a blessing that I don't deserve. She accepted me as a patient despite my fears and insecurities that developed into a stubbornness while under the care of another Healthcare system. With kindness, patience and understanding she took the time to make the necessary… See more

from Bill in MD October 6, 2022 for Trina Kapoor Frankel, DO

I've been a patient for many years, and two stories stand out. Nearly three years ago, my annual blood work flagged a significant increase in my PSA level. Dr. Frankel and her staff booked an appointment with my urologist before I left the office, and have been with me through the cancer diagnosis and treatment. Her compassion and awareness of my family situation make me feel well cared for!… See more

I truly love my doctor and her entire staff. Words are not enough to express my gratitude and appreciation for their kindness, attentiveness, Professionalism, follow-up, Loyal characters and ALWAYS willing to go above and beyond the request of the patient. Your rating system is truly out dated when it comes to Dr. Frankel and her staff.

I would like to sincerely thank each of them for… See more

I had a fall and needed a partial elbow replacement. In the following weeks after surgery my surgeon suspected infection. Two test were required and Dr Frankel and her excellent staff were able to get me the appointments I needed within 2 days. I was so grateful.
The whole office is filled with the most wonderful and helpful people that it is a joy to go there.

I’ll never be able to say enough to totally express my gratitude for this extraordinary human being. Dr. Frankel was caring for my entire family prior to joining MDVIP. I’ll never forget the day she broke the news to me that she was leaving the practice. Dr. Frankel gave me a heartfelt/professional detailed explanation as to why her decision was necessary and final; which could have been a… See more
