This is an excellent internal medicine doctor, and his practice is top notch. The office is calm, organized and professional. My husband and I never feel rushed. Dr. Cox is extremely thorough and conscientious. Both Dr. Cox and Nurse Bianca are intelligent and caring medical professionals. They also both keep up with a large breadth of research.

Expertise, punctuality and truly caring for his patients are a few words to describe my Dr. He has guided me through a few minor /major health issues and his compassion was truly appreciated!

I recently completed my first annual physical (much more thorough than any other I’ve done) and it was the most comprehensive and beneficial thing I’ve done for my health. His response was calm but certain. He insisted that we check them out and suggested the kindest and best specialists. He has followed all the test results. His office feels like a warm caring living room. His entire office and staff feel like caring family. His wife is his RN, and provides an additional level of warmth and caring. He has been reassuring and encouraging about me continuing with these specialists. I quickly encouraged my husband to join his practice. He is a fabulous and caring physician.

Dr Cox has been my primary care doctor for several years. When I was looking for an Internist, My friend recommended Dr Cox to me. Through the years I have found that he is the only doctor I have had that truly CARES about me, physically emotionally and mentally. Dr Cox treats the whole person. He knows that by treating the whole person, he can get to the bottom of mini of physical problems easier. I have really bad arthritis and it hurts every joint replacement surgeries. I am also 72 years old and occasionally fall. Dr Cox has worked with me to discuss several ways I can limit my falling and be more careful. I have had bad arthritis and joint replacement surgeries and have had to be referred two other specialists. Dr Cox has referred me to a specialist in the area of upper body orthopedics, foot and ankle orthopedics, back surgeons and even a psychologist when I felt I was depressed. I can’t put into words what Dr Cox means to me. I just know that out of all the doctors I’ve had in my life, Dr Cox is the most compassionate and knowledgeable doctor. MDVIP is an excellent organization and have the best doctors in Dallas! Another wonderful thing about Dr Cox is the fact that when you go to him you never ever feel rushed or hurried. He takes his time with you to get to the bottom of the problem and when I am there I feel like I am the only person in the office! I can’t say enough about this wonderful man! There is no internist who is as kind, caring, compassionate, knowledgeable, competent, and thorough as Dr William Cox. I highly recommend him to all my friends and family. He has quickly responded to me, my husband, and son anytime we attempt to reach him. He visits us while in the hospital even when he’s not the doctor in charge. He cares deeply for his patients. He assisted my son over the phone during a Type 1 diabetic crisis of an out of town friend. He guided them on actions to take and calmed all their fears. The friend is only 22 and was visiting from CA. He guided me through a sudden blood pressure drop of my husband after surgery, and with his knowledge and assistance, we remained calm and leveled his BP at home. Dr William Cox is simply amazing! We are so very grateful to have him and his expertise in our lives. He gives us a huge sense of comfort, guidance and calm in any crisis so we don’t needlessly call 911. On the flip side, there was a time when he instructed us to go to the ER which resulted in a 3 day hospital stay. He is always SPOT ON in his advice. We appreciate him so much!

Dr William Cox & his staff go well beyond what is expected. Dr Cox is most thorough in caring for me. All staff are excellent radiating caring & warmth. Dr Cox is an md/vip Dr which means he is available twenty four seven hours.

Dr Cox has been my primary doctor for around 9 or 10 years and i kept telling my wife about him because I think he is very caring and knowledgeable and I have never asked him a question that he ignored. Well my wife finally had a medical emergency and I called Dr Cox's office and scheduled an appointment for her and he worked her in that very day and she needed a CT scan which he arranged for her immediately and the next day he had the diagnosis which was not what we wanted to hear but we were amazed at how quickly he called her back. She wrote an old fashioned letter of thanks. Since she has never done a google review, I am typing and posting the handwritten letter to Dr William Cos for her: "Thank you! You are the first medical doctor I have had in many years who actually listened and really heard what i was trying to communicate. You were quick to respond with knowledgeable answers and action that brought quick diagnosis and a treatment plan. I am so glad Jim brought me to see you Wednesday when I was in so much pain. My wife and I have just changed Primary Care doctors and have been very pleased with the thoroughness with which Dr. William Cox carried out the initial interview. He recorded all of our previous and present specialists in order to get our past medical history and answered all our questions and concerns about having to change doctors.
