My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...

Fitness!!! My definition of fitness is balance in physical, emotional and spiritual health. I practice my fitness by exercising plenty, eating well, playing with my family and friends and devoting time to several nonprofits I care about. I believe we all can be the "captain of our own ships" and I want to help my patients to become their own ship captains.

I first started seeing Dr. Ahn before I was an American. I would come down for long stays and I was not feeling well during one of my stays. Dr Ann agreed to see me. The medical system in the US was something I wasn’t used to at all! She has been my doctor ever since. I have lived here for 6 years now and she has always looked after me. I’m a believer in people’s health comes before insurance… See more

I cannot put into words the sheer relief that having you as my primary physician has brought me. Your expertise and kindness are evident from your prompt responses to phone calls to the wonderful annual assessment.
Much Love,
Kathleen

I have shared this story before but it continues to bring me great blessings. A number of years ago I complained to my primary physician, Dr. Yong Hue Ahn, that I could no longer comfortably take my daily walks around our neighborhood and up Lime Kiln Gulch to the shore line trail near our home. We did it for years with our children and I wanted to continue though they had all grown and left… See more

Dr Ahn has been available to me when I’m happy, when I’m feeling low, when I’m sick, and when I’m well. Her holistic approach to my health incorporates healthy lifestyle choices as well as targeted therapies specific to my needs. Her access to the best specialists has expedited my recovery and limited the wait time for appointments. She talks to me as a person not at me like a stranger. My… See more

After relocating to a new city I was having great difficulty finding a new primary care physician. Having an autoimmune disease it is very important to have a primary cary physician to help lead the way. In Dr. Ahn, I have found much comfort knowing I can reach her whenever needed.
After meeting Dr. Ahn for a scheduled visit, not a MDVIP visit. Dr. Ahn showed more compassion and desire… See more

One word cannot describe Dr. Ahn. She is very professional, compassionate, engaging, personable, and all around amazing doctor. We definitely get the VIP treatment from Dr. Ahn, always taking the time to communicate with us.
We have had many medical situations that have been handled with much care and concern.

from Barbara in UT March 9, 2018 for Yong Hui Ahn, MD

Dr. Ahn has been with me through mystery diseases and bladder cancer and most recently, divorce. She has been an invaluable person in my life. While her medical expertise is second to none, her kindness and genuine caring for her patients is what really separates her from the rest. She has stood by me and encouraged me and helped me through my life's greatest challenges. She is the… See more

Dr. Ahn is wonderful she took such good care of my husband when he was sick and she makes me feel special. I don't always do what she tells me but I know she's right and I tried other Drs but no one compares to Dr. Ah. I'm just afraid I won't be able to afford the cost of the MDVIP and I don't know what I'll do. I won't feel the closeness like I do her. I… See more
