MDVIP Expands Personalized Care in Central Ohio with Addition of Dr. Steven Barrientos

Board-Certified Family and Sports Medicine Physician Dr. Barrientos Joins Dr. Marvin Im’s Practice, Serving Patients in Dublin and the Surrounding Communities

DUBLIN, Ohio – June 30, 2026 – MDVIP today announced the expansion of its primary care network in Central Ohio with the addition of Dr. Steven Barrientos. Dr. Barrientos is joining fellow MDVIP affiliate Dr. Marvin Im’s highly respected family medicine practice located at 6425 Post Road, Suite 102, in Dublin, Ohio.

Dr. Barrientos is double board-certified in Family Medicine and Sports Medicine with a special interest in preventive health, musculoskeletal conditions and helping patients of all ages and activity levels stay active and mobile. His path to medicine was shaped at a young age, as he watched his grandfather navigate health challenges complicated by a language barrier.

“I understood early on that medicine is about more than just clinical knowledge. It is about connection, trust and truly understanding the person in front of you,” said Dr. Barrientos, who is fluent in Spanish and proficient in Portuguese. “The MDVIP model allows me to build the kind of deep, meaningful relationships with patients that first inspired me to become a physician. I am excited to bring my passion for personalized, whole-person care to the Dublin community.”

As an MDVIP-affiliate, Dr. Barrientos maintains a smaller patient panel, enabling him to give more time and attention to each patient and provide proactive, prevention-focused care in addition to other conveniences, including:

About Steven Barrientos, DO
Dr. Barrientos earned his medical degree from Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford, New Jersey, and completed his internship and family medicine residency at Virtua Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden, New Jersey. He holds dual board certifications in both Family Medicine and Sports Medicine from the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians. Outside of the office, Dr. Barrientos enjoys cooking, traveling, swimming as well as watching and playing soccer.
