Toledo Family Physician Susan M. Federman Launches MDVIP-Affiliated Practice

TOLEDO, Ohio and BOCA RATON, Fla. – April 8, 2026 – MDVIP today announced that Dr. Susan M. Federman, a board-certified family medicine physician known in the Toledo community for providing compassionate, whole-person care, has opened an MDVIP-affiliated practice located at 3425 Executive Parkway, Suite 117, in the Westgate Village area. Dr. Federman, who opened her new practice on March 31, is enrolling patients who want more time and a direct relationship with their primary care doctor.

MDVIP-affiliated practices offer a solution to the many frustrations that patients can experience with traditional primary care, including long waits for an appointment, rushed visits and difficulty getting all of their concerns addressed. By maintaining a smaller practice size, Dr. Federman is able to spend more time with each patient and provide proactive, prevention-focused medicine.

“As a primary care physician, my goal is to support families in the community through every stage of their health journey, whether they’re focused on staying well or navigating challenges as they arise,” said Dr. Federman, who has lived and practiced in Toledo her entire career. “Delivering this kind of care takes time, and every patient brings a unique set of needs that no single approach can address. Joining MDVIP gives both me and my patients that time – to delve into their history, have meaningful discussions and work together on a wellness plan that fits their life.”

Annual Wellness Program
Patients who join Dr. Federman’s practice receive a comprehensive yearly health assessment and custom wellness planning tailored to their health objectives. Other conveniences of a smaller practice size include same-day or next-day appointments, longer visits with Dr. Federman and the ability to reach her by phone after hours and on weekends.

Power of Prevention
Through its emphasis on disease prevention and early detection, the MDVIP model has been shown to improve health outcomes, including:
•    A 70-80% reduction in hospitalizations
•    Fewer visits to the emergency room and urgent care
•    40% more patients identified at risk for cardiovascular disease using advanced testing

MDVIP-affiliated physicians maintain unrivaled patient satisfaction and annual membership renewals of over 90%.
