Testimonials from patients of Dr. Yerg

I have been a patient of Dr Yerg's for over 20 years. Always there for me. Always right on with diagnosis and advice. Always responsive regardless of time or day. Which is why, while I am elderly and on a rigidly fixed income, I opted to follow him to MDVIP. No change whatsoever in his practice and style other than the high quality folder I get with my annual physical printouts.… See more

The only doctor who doesn’t,t raise my blood pressure. He is always there listening and solving my problems and sharing news about family without ever seeming to be in a hurry.

from James in MD March 12, 2020 for John E. Yerg, MD, FCCP

We are so lucky to have Dr. Yerg in our lives - both my husband and I feel that he knows us so well. Although reasonably in good health, when we are not well, he knows exactly what to prescribe and always, always follows up. He recently treated out 24yr old daughter and he was amazing...she said she's never met any physician who took the time to really "listen" and said… See more

Fortunately I have no critical health event, to which I attribute Dr. Yerg's comprehensive care. He spends as much time as necessary to review my annual physical exam results. At age 77 I have had several primary care physicians, and I must say Dr yerg has been the best !

from Wayne in MD March 10, 2020 for John E. Yerg, MD, FCCP

I have been a patient with Dr John Yerg for 15 years, and during this time he always takes the time to thoroughly listen before making assumptions, and even though he probably knows exactly why I'm sitting on the table in front of him, he still allows me to describe the symptoms. Sometimes I think he has forgotten about a past surgery, or an MRI I had three years ago, but he amazes me… See more

My first experience with Dr. Yerg occurred many years ago when I was scheduled to travel overseas to meet my nieces for the first time after 17 years. A week before the trip I came down with a severe case of illness and was unable to breath and considered cancelling the trip. Dr. Yerg evaluated and diagnosed my condition and treated me in time so I was able to go on my trip. Subsequent years… See more

I also wanted to add that Dr. Yerg has gone above and beyond expectations to provide me the best care. He is always reachable and provides me all the time I need to make sure all my questions are answered. In short, I am lucky to be one of Dr. Yerg's patients.

Dr. Yerg has been our family PCP for over two decades. His knowledge, personal attention, professionalism, and tenacity regarding treatments has been outstanding! As someone who has and continues to perform a great deal of care-giving, I can unequivocally give him top marks - training and experience are important, but the ability to apply those, AND be dedicated to seeking out additional… See more

from Patricia in MD March 14, 2018 for John E. Yerg, MD, FCCP

Dr. Yerg has been my primary physician for many years after I was diagnosed with pneumonia and the emergency hospital referred me to him. He is extremely good, hes fun, he is honest and compassionate. Within the last year my best friend and also a patient of Dr. Yerg passed away. He was very fond of her and I leaned on him for support and comfort. He did not let me down.
