About Daniel Morgan, MD
Family is a powerful concept. As a family physician, I have been blessed with the privilege of assuming many roles in caring for my patients. Every day I can aid in healing or be an empathetic listener, an eager educator or a relentless investigator. I have devoted most of my adult life to bettering my knowledge and ability, so that I, in turn, may provide attentive and personalized care for my patients.
I pride myself on practicing a broad spectrum of medicine, which I believe is becoming rare in this day and age. Like my at-home tool kit, I keep my medical tool set ready to help review a multitude of conditions. I take pride in my hands-on approach with many conditions that may require intervention, including musculoskeletal joint injections, dermatological procedures, and other minor surgeries.
At the heart of my practice is my goal to help patients as they work to improve their quality of life and longevity. It starts with education, then we gather data using advanced diagnostic screenings in the MDVIP Wellness Program, and then set the goals for what we want to attain, while also identifying what potential hazards we need to be vigilant for. The process is lifelong. In my opinion, we must arm ourselves with as much knowledge and data as we can to make appropriate decisions. Whether it be diet or lifestyle choices, medication decisions, or diagnostic tests, I partner with my patients to advise and guide them at steps along the way. Every patient is unique, and my goal is to understand them more deeply in order to tailor a plan to help them achieve their mission.
At the end of the day, I understand that your health is your most important asset. I value and respect your trust in me to be your personal physician, and I strive to know my patients like I do my own family so that they are comfortable sharing all that they wish to so we can be partners in a better health future.
When I am not in the office slinging a stethoscope I enjoy:
● Playing any sport you can think of, including basketball, badminton and golf.
● Towing the travel trailer with six kids in the back of the truck for a weekend of glamping.
● Weekend warrior house remodeling projects.
● Outdoorsman activities.
● Tending to my chicken flock.
● Scuba diving.
● Working on being more prepared for anything and everything.

Frequently Asked Questions
MDVIP-affiliated physicians use the Wellness Program Plus to help prevent little things from becoming big things – working to help patients enjoy life and be healthier. Those who value their health will appreciate having a closer doctor-patient relationship. Because MDVIP-affiliated physicians have smaller practices, they have more time for you, so you can receive the individualized care and service you deserve. Physicians offering the Plus program have a different set of testing to choose from than physicians in the traditional program; this testing looks at additional health risks. Plus doctors also use an advanced cognitive testing system to evaluate brain health and offer a medication review program.
MDVIP makes wellness and prevention easier by providing your physician with innovative tools and technology. MDVIP supports your physician’s practice and seeks to eliminate barriers to a positive healthcare experience. Your doctor will determine whether and how to incorporate these tools at his/her discretion.
Most MDVIP-affiliated primary care practices accept insurance (your physician can tell you whether they accept your specific insurance plan). Your annual fee pays for preventive care medical services that insurance usually doesn’t cover (e.g., advanced diagnostic testing and screenings). Your MDVIP-affiliated physician will continue to bill your insurance and charge copays, co-insurances and deductibles as he or she currently does for other medical services like sick visits.
