Testimonials from patients of Dr. Legare

from Carol in MA February 26, 2018 for Edward J. Legare, MD, FACP

My husband and I are celebrating milestone birthdays this year (70) and really thinking about our mortality in ways both silly and serious. For example: if we buy new luggage, will it last until we die? Should we sell our house and reduce our belongings so it will be easier for our kids? (BTW, the answer to both is who cares?). There is one decision that we really do care about - keeping Ned… See more

Dr. Legre has been my PCP for over 25 years also caring for my elderly parents and grown children. He has seen me through menopause, several surgeries, and caring for my parents. Dad passed away in the hospital 10 yrs ago and Mom passed last April at home on Hospice. He has always listened and cared about the totality of my life including my ongoing challenge with obesity. He has always been… See more

It's a call every parent dreads from their child who is halfway across the country attending college. Dad, something is wrong, my face is burning up I think I used too much acne medicine. I figured this must happen all the time, Go to health services and see what they say.

I get a call an hour later that he is being transported to the university hospital. Then I get a call that… See more

Dr Legare is an exceptional doctor! He embodies what it means to be a caring, relational, intelligent and competent physician. The privilege and advantage of having him as partner in my health is immeasurable. The service as my primary physician is worth far more than I pay for The concierge service MDVIP and I would be willing to pay more were I able to afford more than my monthly payments.… See more

Dr. Legare is a great physician and someone I consider a friend. More than going to just a routine exam, I actually enjoy our conversations. His success in handling my aversion to certain medication is just one example of the trust I have in him. I doubt another doctor would have been able to do this as easily as Ned Legare.

from Irene in MA February 26, 2014 for Edward J. Legare, MD, FACP

My family and I have known Dr. Legare for many years, and can say that I am blessed to have him as my PCP. Love the fact that I can call his office or email him and would get a response within minutes. He would hear me out with whatever my situation may be and more importantly, he was quick to schedule for further tests, maybe a referral to a specialist, or recommend his medical magic. It is… See more

My doctor had taken care of my parents in the past with great care and compassion. I have enjoyed my own experience with him also. Since he went with MDVIP, I can actually have an appointment with him and not just physician's assistants. I can spend time with him now during my appointments. He is leading me on a road to a healthier life.
