Not only do you listen, but you engage me in a lively conversation based on science and facts. It becomes a fun exchange and my worries wash away. I always feel that you are on top of the latest, greatest medical information which enables you to make informed decisons about my health and my husband's health. Initially I questioned whether I would follow him to concierge medicine. Doing so was one of the best decisions I ever made. Recently he identified something needing follow up and intervention. His ability to find it was itself amazing. He intervened to schedule a quick study and further follow up. He gave me the good news far in advance of hearing from the hospital. I appreciated his consistent follow up by phone every step of the way. I have been his patient for more than 15 years and I have never been disappointed in his follow up. Emails are responded to rapidly in every instance, a very reassuring response that I am confidently able to rely on. I can't say enough good things about him and his entire office team. At annual physical time, he takes the time to explain every lab result. In conjunction with him, I am able to be an active participant in my care. I love that he is helping to train the next generation of caregivers and serving as a mentor to many. I wish everyone the model of care he provides.

I have been seeing Dr Legare well over 15 years, where I was his patient before him joining the concierge program. I was heart broken to learn that he was going to be part of it and what was I going to do. I tried seeing someone not part of that program and it took one visit for me to realize Dr Legare was a doctor who really knew me, knew how I ticked and was and is ALWAYS looking out for my best. Through the years he has been my doctor that if I had a simple question, I would email him, and I knew he would get back to me within a half hour. I even recently went on a cruise out of Ft Lauderdale and had to email him on a medical issue, and within no time he helped me out. I am so thankful and grateful knowing Dr Legare has my back with the care he gives to my husband and I! Dr Legare, you know we all love you, thank you and pray God continues to give you the gift of caring for my family and all the families in your practice who are blessed to have you!

It was November of 1997. I was complaining about discomfort in my chest and Dr Legare ordered a stress test. Nothing showed up that was alarming, but I continued to experience mild shortness of breath and slight discomfort. Unsatisfied with continued standard tests results, Dr Legare ordered a cardio-cath where it was determined that my left main artery was close to 90% blocked. Apparently, the previous test results we’re false negative. In part, because of an active, athletic and non-smoking lifestyle, the smaller arteries in my heart were doing a sufficient enough job to keep me alive. Still, I continued to experience symptoms of cardiac pain. Had it not been for Dr Legare’s persistence and thoroughness, I wouldn’t be here today, 22 years later. After a 4 way by-pass operation in ‘97 and since then, 3 stents inserted in my heart, I’m still here, having the good fortune to be with my bride for 50 years, the father of two successful sons, and the “Papa” of three beautiful grandkids. This is all not to minimize the good doctor’s bedside, comforting manner and friendly personality. When it comes to professionalism, knowledge, thoroughness and that friendly comforting attitude, Dr Edward J “Ned” Legare, is the best primary care doctor there is in my book.
