I was recently hospitalized in an ICU with acute ketoacidosis (AKA). My wife called him and he triaged my endocrinologist to set up a team that helped me through my trauma. Dr. Smith is a wonderful listener, kind and compassionate person as well as a caring and professional doctor. When I have a question or concern, Dr. Smith is always available by phone or text, even on the weekends. His connections with other physicians help to get a specialist when needed.
