My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...

My goal as an internal medicine physician is to provide personalized healthcare with an emphasis on wellness, prevention, early detection and careful management of chronic conditions. To accomplish this, I believe there must be a strong physician-patient partnership based on mutual trust and respect. As an MDVIP-affiliated primary care physician, I have more time to carefully discuss symptoms and concerns, perform comprehensive exams and formulate a plan of action. In today’s atmosphere of fragmented and cumbersome healthcare delivery I strive to make my office an oasis where we can work together to meet your healthcare needs. Similar to concierge medicine practices, I also offer conveniences like same- or next-day appointments that start on time.

I am board certified in internal medicine. Based on the nomination of my colleagues, D Magazine has named me as a “Best Doctor in Dallas” every year from 2008 to 2016. Best Doctors, Inc. has listed me as one of “The Best Doctors in America” each year for the past 15 years. My primary care practice is located adjacent to Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas, where I am on staff. My patients come from the Dallas and Fort Worth Metroplex, including Highland Park, University Park, Plano and Richardson.

Dr. Lisa Clark and her staff are outstanding. This week they have been especially helpful with tele-medicine in the time of Corona. They always respond quickly, and take time to listen. Their caring attitude is much appreciated. Dr. Clark provides excellent care for my elderly mother and me.

from Gloria in TX March 12, 2020 for Lisa H. Clark, MD

Dr. Clark can and does identify potential health issues prior to any problematic events. With my recent neck/shoulder pain, Dr. Clark directed me to the most appropriate specialists to address the issues. I am so much better because of the PT I received versus surgery. :-) Dr. Clark's genuine care and thorough, detailed assessment is a tremendous credit to the health profession. She… See more

If you are wanting a physician with smarts AND empathy, Dr. Lisa Clark is THE one to chose. After years of dissatisfaction with another MDVIP physician
I was so pleased to discover Dr. Clark. She is most attentive to the details of a history and diligently addresses every concern. Her workups are thoughtful and complete. Labs which are ordered by Dr. Clark are for solving the medical… See more

I have no "health" super story to share. I am a fairly healthy person and so far I have seen Lisa Clark once a year. That being said, I know she is compassionate, caring, attentive, and completely aware of all that is going on with me, with the world, and the current health events. I have NO plans to move away from her practice.... Who knows... I MIGHT get sick... Love you, Lisa… See more

I broke my leg New Year’s Eve 2018. I had surgery within three days and went home within a week. As soon as Dr. Clark learned what had happened, she took immediate interest in me and my health. The orthopedic surgeon took care of my leg and Dr. Clark took care of me. Dr. Clark checked on me two and three times a week. Made every effort to get me stabilized. I had no problems with my leg, my… See more

from Susan in TX March 22, 2018 for Lisa H. Clark, MD

I truly feel that Dr Clark and her staff go above and beyond. And I think Dr Clark is exactly what I have been looking for in a doctor, a doctor that looks at me and my health needs individually and does not try to lump me into a group. The personal attention I receive is outstanding.

I loved the range and number of tests included I my yearly check up. I also was impressed with the time spent going over all of them. Based on those and some of my goals, we planned what my plan would be for this year! I left with a list of to dos to help me achieve those goals. It also included any shots or follow up tests I might need. Dr. Clark was also very quick to respond to phone… See more

from Linda in TX March 11, 2018 for Lisa H. Clark, MD

My PCP Dr. Lisa Clark is providing excellent medical services. She takes time to listen and encourages me also to take time to convey all the information I'd like my doctor to hear. I never leave an appointment feeling that I wasn't heard, and I'm unclear about her recommendations and the reasons for them.
