My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...

My goals, as your personal physician, are to provide you with an individualized healthcare plan that helps you achieve your health goals and to be an effective advocate for you in all areas of the healthcare world. In order to meet these goals, we must utilize two of the quickly fading arts in medicine: the comprehensive, hands-on physical examination and the in-depth interview, which includes listening to all aspects of your medical history, concerns and goals in life. In my MDVIP-affiliated practice, I have the time and resources to achieve these goals while treating you like a member of my family. I believe that continuity of care, through long-term doctor-patient relationships, is key to developing mutual understanding, trust and quality of care. Similar to conveniences often associated with concierge medicine practices, I also offer same- or next-day appointments that start on time. 

I have been a board-certified family practitioner for the last 16 years. General practice is my main focus, but I also have special interests in diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular health, preventive medicine and travel medicine. I am also credentialed to provide examinations for commercial drivers. I have built many great relationships with various specialists, who can also help you with your unique needs. 

My primary care practice currently serves the Greater Baton Rouge area and the surrounding parishes. I have hospital affiliations with Baton Rouge General Hospital, Our Lady of the Lake Hospital and Ochsner Medical Center. I want to remove all possible hurdles between you and the healthcare you deserve. That includes flexible scheduling, early/late appointment options and house calls if necessary, to name a few.
