I have known Dr. Goldstein since we were kids. I watched him grow into one of the finest physicians I know. That is saying a lot due to my over 40 years working in the HealthCare Arena. Every patient should have a captain (advocate), that they can rely on for accessibility, visitations and healthcare. In complex situations that person should be the one person that can guide you through the maze of today's healthcare system and coordinate all of the healthcare professionals that you come into contact. I know what a network looks like and how many people you have to rely on. It is extremely difficult and can be very confusing, which leads to frustration. I have gone through many health events for myself and especially my late wife, that Dr. Goldstein and his staff that have guided me and assisted me to make sure that my late wife and I received the best care and follow up. You don't want to wait until you need someone such as Dr. Goldstein until you really need a "Captain". I would be happy to speak with anyone facing the challenges we all will have to overcome.
