Dr. Andrew Hilldrup.....I couldn't have a better Family Physician!
Why am I grateful to have Dr. Hilldrup as my Family Physician?
Dr. Hilldrup joined the Practice around the same time that Dr. Myers was retiring. Of course there was some apprehension about the loss of a Physician
(Dr. Myers) many of us had been seeing for many. many years to a new unknown Physician and to trust all of our medical care and private issues to someone new to all of us.
But Dr. Hilldrup could not have made the transition any better for me!
Dr. Hilldrup has many amazing qualities as the Doctor I now come to when I have any kind of health issue.
He legitimately cares about your health and even in your life outside of the medical office; he spends a great deal of time explaining things to me and LISTENING to me; he has a temperament that I wish all Physicians in any Specialty had and could be "taught" to Medical Students; he handles refill requests, after hour phone calls, and questions in person or through the Patient Portal in a very timely manner; he keeps you updated on the latest vaccines and injections that I should take advantage of; his Medical Knowledge is second to none; and he just makes you feel like you've known him for years!
I feel we are all so lucky to have a new Physician that carries on many of the traits of Dr. Myers, along with Dr Hilldrup's own unique, wonderful traits and EVEN MORE above and beyond.! His Nurse Nancy, is also so helpful and wonderful to me with any requests or questions I may have and they work together as a wonderfully productive, friendly, and timely team to also handle any problems you may approach them with.
And may I say that MDVIP and Midlothian Family Practice are lucky to have such a wonderful Physician on their roster to keep them at the top of any list or ratings of Family Practice groups....not just in Richmond, but anywhere in Virginia.
I cannot say one bad word about Dr. Hilldrup and I am blessed to have been moved into his care group especially at this point of my life.....you tend to ask a lot more of your Family Physician as you get older and I feel like I am in great hands with Dr. Hilldrup.....(and the team of Nancy his nurse and Ashby his receptionist are nothing but A1 rated also)!
I couldn't be more pleased with the care I am receiving at this time.
Thank you for the opportunity to express my opinion about Dr. Hilldrup. Those that rise up and beyond the call of duty SHOULD be recognized for their great work!
