When Connie and myself met Dr Lillestol the first time Connie was in really bad shape. She had suffered a subaracnoid hemorrhage and was hospitalized for 5 months. She was then transferred to a nursing home where we thought they would take good care of her. We were wrong. She developed a bed sore so bad she developed sepsis, pneumonia, mrsa. Luckily her feeding tube broke and she had to go to the hospital to have it fixed. This is when we met Dr. Lillestol found out all these other things. He told us that the outcome might not be good. She had surgery to fix the bed sore which was horrible and worse than we thought. Connie was in the hospital and swing bed for another month and then on to a new nursing home. Dr. Lillestol has been our Dr. since all of this and to date. He explained to us that Connie may be living in a nursing home the rest of her life. This all happened in 2014 we only knew one thing. How to fight. With the help of Dr. Lillestol and the fine people at the nursing home Connie made great strides and in January of 2016 I retired and Connie came home. I am now her caregiver and everything is going great. We would not be in this position without Dr. Lillestol and his fine staff. He always makes sure we spend enough time with him so we can all be on the same page. When he partnered with MDVIP he asked us if we wanted to be part of it to. Only took a second to say yes. Didn't even ask the cost, didn't care. Dr. Lillestol is absolutely the most genuine person there is and we are so greatful for having him as Connie's Dr. Dr. Lillestol is a great Dr. but even a better human being. He's truly a treasure.
