As Good as it Gets

Having relocated to Birmingham from Nashville two years ago where I was a patient of a wonderful MDVIP practice, I was somewhat apprehensive about a new physician in a new community. Dr Dodson, and his staff, quickly and professionally turned my apprehension to appreciation. He is always available, and manages every detail of my health care needs. When hospitalized...as I have been twice while under his care... once seriously with double pneumonia, he quickly reached out to manage my care...coordinating other specialists, lab tests, and various scans and x rays. As a result, my hospital stay was very brief with minimum time in intensive care.
My physicals are always thorough..with each detail recorded on his laptop.. with follow up as necessary, each step is coordinated and scheduled . He encourages me to follow my diet...maintain my weight...and stay on top of my exercise routine. Following my exam, each item in my lab work is reviewed and explained in detail...questions are encouraged..and always answered.
This practice from the receptionist/office manager, phlebotomist, nurse..and Dr Dodson himself deliver exceptional health care..highly recommended.
