I had a knee replacement surgery a couple of years ago. After a couple of weeks my knee started getting red and throbbing. I visited my surgeon a few times to determine the cause. I knew it was an infection, but he kept sending me home and telling me to raise my leg and put ice packs on it .Only when I emailed my primary care and went into a sepsis infection shock, that my surgeon paid attention. Too late Another surgery had to be done.
I owe him my life.
