I had only seen my MDVIP doctor, Dr. Sam Setareh, once -- for our introductory meeting -- before I fell very ill with a serious ear infection that landed me in the hospital. I connected with Dr. Setareh via email soon after to let him know (he is incredibly responsive over email), and he got me in to see a top ENT specialist quickly for a follow-up appointment. This specialist noted that, typically, the wait to see him would have been significant -- possibly a month or longer -- so Dr. Setareh's work on my behalf not only made a difference, it actually exemplified everything that I hoped both he and the MDVIP program would stand for when I signed up late last year. (Additionally, the antibiotic that the hospital prescribed me upon being discharged was never called-in to my pharmacy. Dr. Setareh made sure that I received this antibiotic -- again, expeditiously.)

Although I, admittedly, don't know him well yet, I feel confident that I have made the right choice in moving to the MDVIP program and choosing Dr. Setareh as my new primary care physician. He gets things accomplished with impressive speed yet, conversely, I get the feeling that he takes care and time getting to know his patients and listening to their concerns. (And I would be remiss not to mention his wonderful, kind, staff and team -- from Sherri to his nurses.)
