After my mother developed stroke-induced dementia, I moved her from N.C. to Assisted Living in Atlanta. A doctor's wife in a very small town, she'd been treated by male physicians all her life. I thought that in her impaired state that would be disconcerting, so I looked for a female. That is how I met Dr. Kathy Minter. It isn't easy to treat someone who cannot follow instructions. Dr. Minter could not have been more patient, gentle, and thorough. I have been her patient for about 30 years now, and I would want to see anyone else. She is thorough, up on the latest medical journal information,
and she always listens to me and explains her decisions to me as if she had nothing else to do all day. I highly recommend her.
