A Real Doctor

Today it is difficult to find a good Dr. who is knowledgeable and also has compassion. This is what I look for in a doctor that I entrust my life and the life of my family to. Dr. Lovell fit that description perfectly. Having had several tests over the years; some ordered by my family doctor. While other testing ordered by a Specialist. I always make sure my family doctor gets a courtesy copy of all testing results. Dr. Lovell will call with those results when he receives them. Unlike the Dr. who ordered the test. It may be two weeks before I get results from the Specialist. Most recently I was told I had to make an appointment with a Specialist ‘S P A to get results that the ordering doctor assured me that she would call with in a few days . It has been my experience that most doctors today have lost that compassion and understanding of what it’s like waiting for those results and having to deal with all that it may entail. This is a very sad realization. My doctor is knowledgeable, caring and compassionate. I know that he is there for me if I need him. A real Doctor! I hope that he knows how much he is appreciated by me and my husband !
