March of 2023 found us arriving at our condo in Southern Florida. Upon stepping out of the car and taking my first breath of the wonderful salt air I was racked with a severe coughing fit. The fit was caused by the presence of "Red Tide", a condition that kills sea life and fills the air with a notable "stink" and spores that attack the upper respiratory system. Both my Wife and I were affected. Using the MDVIP messaging system and a quick phone call, Dr. Justice and staff quickly responded to our immediate need for medical assistance. Within the hour Dr. Wayne Justice (Dr. J) and his team of caregivers quickly responded by forwarding prescription medication to the CVS pharmacy near us. We started on the medications as soon as we could collect them and continued taking them through the recovery period. I suffered with the condition for the full three weeks at our condo, never stepping outside the unit, and for an additional two months. Upon our return home the wonderful staff at Twin Cities Family Practice worked both of us into Dr. J's schedule and we were attended to by our "Nursing Angels" and Dr. J for a through check up and modifications of our prescriptions for continued improvement of our respiratory health. Dr. J makes himself available to his patients 24/7 and responds personally to our calls for assistance when the office is closed. He and his staff are always available to provide guidance for our health care needs. Dr. J has stepped out of the office and visited patients and their families in times of grief to offer a consoling presence in times of need. Dr. J and staff are on top of all the latest changes/advancements in the field and ready to apply new treatments to meet the needs of their patients. Never has a patient that came into the office sick and unsmiling remained that way for long and we always leave with a better outlook on life, a warm smile and a professional "Hug". It is unfortunate that we can not clone Dr. J and Staff. If we could the world would be a much better place.
