Sunday Morning Wake Up Call

One early Sunday morning my wife and I were on our boat sailing to Newport Rhode Island. Half way to Newport I started to get pain in my lower abdomen….the start of a diverticulitis flare up. I texted my doctor, Lilly Steel, to let her know and ask for her help. She immediately returned my text saying she would call me as soon as she poured her first cup of coffee. She called within 10 minutes, we discussed my symptoms, which we had managed together in the past. She identified a pharmacy in Newport, sent a prescription and we had my medication waiting for pick up when we arrived. She saved our trip and prevented what could have been a very bad episode. Dr Steel is the best.
