Over about a 2 year period I had experienced several unexplained rectal bleeds. Dr. Kuebker quickly directed me to consult my Gastroenterologist and started to monitor and run test to try and locate the source of the bleeding. After several emergency room visits, and hospital stays Dr. Kuebker located a specialist and again no solution. During one hospital stay and as a result of a scan someone noted the presence of a tumor located in my left Kidney with a notation of a high possibility of cancer. The hospital directed us to another specialist that immediately wanted to remove the entire left kidney. Dr. Kuebker was able to secure a visit to MD Anderson in Houston Texas with a Dr. Matin and after one consultation scheduled surgery to remove the tumor which turned out to be benign and saved 80% of that kidney. Fantastic experience. Again this did not resolve the bleeding issue and after a couple more hospitalizations Dr. Kuebker along with Dr. Espinoza directed us to Dr. Blair Jackson a consult and recommendation to remove the left side of my large intestine which was a shock. Dr. Kuebker assured me that the procedure was necessary and if successful would not have much of a impact on the daily functions om my life. After a 4 month period I have much to be thankful for. Since this took place (after COVID) we are still a little concerned with long distance travel but feel confident my life is back to normal. I totally trust Dr. Kuebker and appreciate his continued interest in my health and wellbeing.
