Dr. Bello is the best MD I’ve eve known!

Dr. Erlaine Bello is superb in every way. She is incredibly intelligent, remembers everything, and knows her patients. She is one of the hardest working people I know. And she is always thinking. It’s not unusual to get a “cold call” from her about a problem we had - and she’s still thinking and reading to solve it. Here’s what makes her particularly exceptional: I was hospitalized last year with a serious pneumonia. She admitted me and was my attending. She never handed over care to a Hospitalist. She was always available and rounding on me. And one of my nurses gave her the biggest compliment: “I’m new and I never worked with her until now. Dr. Bello is great - always available, never minds if we call, and comes in immediately. She listens to us and explains. I wish all the attendings were like her.”
