Dr. Reed is a technically superior physician, both in her ever-evolving knowledge base and the practical application of that medical expertise, but my story is not about that. It is about the innate compassion and instinct she posseses and her ability to relate on a very human level to her patients.

My parents and my husband and I have all been in Dr. Reeds practice. She came to know us well. Two years ago my dad, suffering from Lewy Body Disease, was declining steadily, but as close family often experiences, we did not see (or did not want to see) how ill he had become. In January of 2016, after a routine six-month exam, Dr. Reed told my mom and me that Dads body was shutting down, he was getting ready to leave us, and that we should be prepared to say good bye. We were very surprised! We did not know how Dr. Reed could know this, but her compassion and knowledge allowed her to give us time to prepare.

Sure enough, Dad left us in mid-April. Several days after he died, Dr. Reed called us at home and left a beautiful and heartfelt message of condolence. I saved it to listen to it several more times. It was very meaningful. Who does that? Only a first class doctor who loves her patients and is attuned to their feelings and emotional health as well as their physical bodies. On more than one occasion, Dr. Reed has offered me counsel on personal issues I was dealing with in my life, and in all cases, her words comforted and healed me.

Thank you Dr. Reed! We are so grateful to you for everything, and very happy (thrilled actually) that we can be a part of your practice going forward.
