Dr Thompson saved my life!
Last year during my annual physical, Dr Thompson told me the sugar level in my blood was high. This was a first for me. He said I had two choices, either medication or lose weight. I opted to lose weight....but how? A fad diet would only be a temporary reprieve. Doctor Thompson suggested a diet of fruit and vegetables. I wasn’t ready for that but opted for a Keto diet. It worked but was not sustainable for me. Still, Doctor Thompson pushed for fruit and vegetables. Long story short, I’m about 90% of the way there. I still eat fish and chicken on occasion I’ve kept the weight off, my blood sugar level is good, and most importantly, I feel great at 67.
