Lived different states, but so thankful to be back with Dr Ruth Eckert

I am a 76 year old woman who became Dr Eckert’s patient when I was 32 years old. Had just moved to Arizona and don’t remember how I even found her, but from my first appointment I felt comfortable and was impressed with her desire to listen and hear me, her incredible knowledgeable of drugs and treatments, her compassion.

Still her patient, years later at age 52 I discovered I had breast cancer. About a week later I had a biyearly appt scheduled with Dr Ruth. I will forever remember her compassion and encouragement at that time and also the big hug she gave me!

Years out of state and I am now back in AZ and delighted to have her as my physician! At our first meet she learned from me about a horrific loss in my life. She was still that special physician who cares about the whole person.

She is truly what a healer is all about! All about the latest and greatest in cutting edge drugs and medical therapies, etc. but has a heart for her patients!
