Dr. Bob...Dr. Robert Dimski...has been our Dr. of choice for many years, while our kids were young (in their 40's now!) and before MDVIP entered the relationship.
Because of these many years of association, we know each other's family histories! And at each visit with Dr. Bob, it's always a "gabfest" about what's new with our kids, where we've traveled to and where we're going next! Yes, we get to the necessary medical details, but I NEVER feel rushed or feel he's in a hurry to get to the next patient. His staff of 3 are always friendly and knowledgeable of our personal situation. They are long term employees that show loyalty to Dr. Bob and his practice.
When our daughter was to be married in Austin, Texas, our son's family brought the 24-hour bug with them to the wedding. I was lucky enough to contract this lovely illness at 4 o'clock in the morning THE DAY OF THE WEDDING! Needless to say, I was unable to get out of bed, staying close to the bathroom...my husband called Dr. Bob and he was able to immediately send for an Rx to the nearest Walgreen's. I was able to attend the 7 o'clock wedding ceremony and even eat a bit...my memory of that day is fragmented and sad...BUT I was able to get through the event with a smile on my face, thanks for Dr. Bob!!
We moved to North Carolina 5 years ago, but we are NOT giving up Dr. Bob! Twice a year, we travel back to Oklahoma for our annual checkups and any other medical questions or concerns. We know he is just a text or phone call away, and he always returns our calls, usually within the hour.
Dr. Bob has made noises about retiring and we let him know that is unacceptable! We will be devastated when he DOES retire, as WE did a number of years ago, and will wish him well. But until that time, he's our FIRST choice for medical care!
